CG Life Capstone

  • As a Strategic Communications intern at CG Life I was tasked with fellow interns in creating a concise report of how key healthcare stakeholders, biopharma companies, healthcare marketing agencies, and medical organizations navigate emerging social platforms. I conducted in-depth research throughout the internship and presented my findings to the entire company, including the CEO, at the conclusion of the program.

My guiding principle? To create a CG Life brand-aligned presentation full of strategic insights that leadership could evaluate and integrate into company guidelines and workflow.

    • Compile detailed analysis of key stakeholders on Threads, Reddit, TikTok, Bluesky with a cross-platform comparison matrix

    • Ensure brand alignment by using CG Life powerpoint template, and follow brand guidelines for font type, layout, and color hues.

    • Curated links of influential cross-platform social posts from healthcare stakeholders to serve as reference for future strategy planning.

    • Present strategic recommendations of successful cross-platform content that CG Life can leverage to enhance client campaigns and strengthen its own social presence.

    1. Brief Review Looked over key capstone project documents and met with project managers to ensure team cohesion before progression

    2. Collaborative leadership – Worked with a team of 2 other interns and drafted key internal project tracking documents, qualitative data spreadsheets, while leading backend meetings to align on project roles and finalize assignments.

    3. Insight Translation – Transformed research findings into a visually appealing presentation highlighting how key stakeholders use emerging social platforms– ensured brand cohesion by referencing company logos, colors, and PowerPoint templates.

    4. Proofing and Revising – Presented draft presentations to VPs of Social Media, Paid Media, and PR to gather feedback; incorporated multiple rounds of edits and leadership consultations to finalize deliverables.

    5. Executive Briefing – Presented key findings to the full company and CEO, fielded questions on platform capabilities, stakeholder behaviors, and content opportunities, and offered actionable recommendations tailored to life science client needs.

  • Backed by a client-ready deck and sharp strategic insights, I presented our team’s findings on a company-wide call with the CEO in attendance. My research on how healthcare agencies are adapting to emerging platforms sparked a follow-up 1:1 with CG Life’s marketing team, where I shared tailored recommendations – like leveraging short-form video (employee spotlights, past client campaigns) to align with TikTok’s algorithm, and launching a Bluesky presence to track KOLs and patient advocacy trends in real time.

I also created a comprehensive reference version of the presentation for internal use, complete with detailed slide notes, links to influential posts, and performance data by platform and content type.
